For the last year Helen has been working on her stand up comedy and she appears at venues around the country. Female stand-up comedy is a ruthless world of plaid shirts, cocktails and lots of sitting in cars with strange men for hours while you get to a gig.

You might catch Helen doing straight stand up but she also performs as the effervescent Joyce Featherstonehaugh, church stalwart and play leader at Highgate Mama Cafe playgroup.

Helen has hosted award shows and been a compere for nights in clubs, theatres and more. She's also appeared in pantomime.
